Fenway Refugees is taking nominations for Best Red Sox Bar not in Boston. (The Grammar Police is having a head-scratchin' field day with that sentence, AND this one, as well!)
I have been writing for Fenway West for several years now. My FW posts are here, as well as posts about the San Francisco Giants and MLB.
WELCOME!
And Thank You for visiting Sonoma Dave's Giant Red Sox Blog! This blog is an archive of most of my posts on Fenway West. Effective immediately, I will be be including posts about the San Francisco Giants, MLB, and on occasion, stuff that has nothing to do with baseball at all.

Papi being Manny?
Big Papi blew a head gasket tonight in Baltimore over a high and outside pitch that should have been called ball 4 , but was called a strike. Fenway Refugees reports that when he struck out 2 pitches later, he had some choice words for home plate umpire Tim Timmons, who tossed the big guy after he had returned to the dugout, and after he unleashed all his might upon the dugout telephone. Timmons had been calling a really bad game, and had allowed Ortiz to stay in the game after the verbal assault. Read the full report on Fenway Refugees.
