A's pitcher Dallas Braden throws a PERFECT GAME against the Rays!

Oakland A's pitcher Dallas Braden needed only 109 pitches, 77 of them strikes to retire the Tampa Bay Rays in order today. 27 up, 27 down, as the A's beat the Ray's 4-0 in Oakland. Braden struck out 6, and the A's got 12 hits, 11 of them off of Ray's starter James Shields.

The sad part is that only 12,228 showed up to watch it, as the weather was overcast and a cool 59 degrees. I'm sure a lot of A's fans are kicking theirselves in the collective behinds for ditching the game. Proctologists will be busy at the ER today.

Oakland 4, Tampa Bay 0 BOX SCORE
