Lackey tossed 107 pitches in only 5 innings, giving up 6 hits including 2 round trips, walking 5 and striking out only 3 Phillies as they beat the Sox 5-1 tonight. Victor Martinez continues his Papi-like resurgence with a 2/4 performance which included his 6th HR of the season. Big Papi had a huge chance to shut his critics up for good tonight in the top of the 9th when he pinch hit for Hall with the bases full. He almost did it too, as he flied out to deep center field to end the game.
