Flip-flop go Lackey and Pap

John Lackey turned in a performance that his salary dictated, going 7 innings, allowing only 5 hits and 1 run while striking out 4 Orioles. Daniel Bard pitched a 1-2-3 8th inning, with 2 strikeouts. Papelbon struck out 3, but also allowed a hit. Quite a turnaround from the night before, until you see that it took him 22 pitches to get through the inning.

Kalish, Martinez and Ortiz combined to go 6/10, 4 runs, and 4 RBI's just from Big Papi alone. Josh Reddick homered for the 1st time.

Sox 6 Orioles 1 BOX SCORE
