Fenway West received 3 signed balls to be auctioned off at the 1st Annual Rock and Sox Benefit for The Jimmy Fund and The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Mike Lowell ball and the Dice-K ball have been sent on their way to their respective generous donors. The remaining ball signed by Victor Martinez received a bid on eBay, but the bidder flaked, so the V-Mart ball is back up on eBay once more. Proceeds from the sale of this ball, as was with the others, will go to The Jimmy Fund and The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. (The ball is listed for sale by Toyriffics, which is run by 2 close friends of mine who have the whole eBay system down pat. They have a 99.6% positive feedback rating.)
