Grand slam for the rookie as Sox thump Angels



Rookie Ryan Kalish hit a grand slam stealing thunder from Pedey's return from the DL.

Clay Buchholz cruised through 7 innings, scattering 5 hits and 2 walks, leading the Sox to a 6-0 victory over the Angels tonight. Doubront and Bowden finished off the night, garnering some more big league experience down the stretch.

After being swept by the Angels in the ALDS last year, the Sox have now reeled 8 straight victories over them this season.

The Yankees and the Rays both won tonight, too.
