Time is running out, Sox fall to Rangers despite good game from Dice-K

Dice-K made it into the 7th inning giving up 7 hits and only 2 walks while striking out 8 Rangers on 115 pitches. Those 7 hits and 2 walks added up to 4 runs, all earned. Unfortunately, C.J. Wilson pitched an even better game. He gave up 4 hits, 1 walk, and 1 run in 7.2 innings.

The Red Sox were down 5-1 entering the 8th inning and picked up 3 runs on McDonald's 7th home run of the season. The Red Sox relievers- Delcarmen, Richardson, and Bowden- each gave up 1 run putting the game out of reach for the Sox.
